Call for nominations: 2021 Forty Under 40 Awards in Ghana
Nominations are open for the 2021 Forty Under 40 Awards in Ghana ahead of the awards ceremony in Accra on 8 October.
Now in its fifth year, the annual event, which is organised by Xodus Communications, operates with the vision of celebrating outstanding young Ghanaian leaders in various of sectors including music and arts, banking and finance, tech and innovation, journalism, agriculture, fashion, and health and wellness, among others.
Interested individuals can file their nominations here.
The deadline for nominations is 13 August.
The organisers said the successful nominees will be announced by 1 September by an awarding board comprising Prof David Atta Peters, Prof Essilfie Conduah, Dr Ato Conduah and Dr Ken Kwaku.
Eligibility
- To be eligible, candidates must be a Ghanaian living and doing business in Ghana.
- Nominees with repeat submissions will have no advantage over those with one nomination. The selection process is not swayed by the number of nominations an individual receives.
- Nominations can be anonymous and letters of recommendation are not required.
- Nominees must still be under the age of 40 or in the year of the event.
- Nominees must be an entrepreneur or chief executive officer or co-founder of a company.

“We believe that in putting the spotlight on these young achievers, it will not only celebrate them but also build a strong platform for them by giving a voice and opportunities to the next generation of industry pacesetters while building a positive attitude in our youth to strive for excellence at a tender age,” the organisers said.
