Feza Kessy signs deal with Panamusiq
Tanzanian singer Feza Kessy this week signed a long-term management contract with Panamusiq, a recently-launched professional artist management company operating in Dar es Salaam.
Feza is a former Miss Tanzania runner up who found fame in 2013 in Big Brother Africa Season 8, where she represented Tanzania. After being evicted from the BB house, Feza nurtured her passion for music. She released her first single, ‘Amani ya Moyo’, in 2013 and more recently ‘My Papa’, a hit that has confirmed Feza as an upcoming musician to watch. She was recently invited to feature in ‘Living my Life’, a new track by Zambian star Macky 2.
Launched in 2014, Panamusiq’s mission is to strive to bring talented African music artists to the world audience. The company wants to capitalize on Feza’s recent rise to fame and use its innovative and professional management services to take Feza to the next level. Doreen Noni, Director of Panamusiq, said: “Our strategy is to establish Feza in the local Tanzanian market first and then develop her brand internationally in both the African continent and across the world.”
Feza announced on her facebook page recently: “I am so happy to have signed to the only professional artist management company in Tanzania: Panamusiq. It's going to be quite a ride now!”

Feza is the third musical act to join Panamusiq’s growing roster after Ben Pol and Linah. Ben Pol signed a long-term management contract with Panamusiq in late April. He is an award-winning singer and songwriter known for hits like ‘Sophia’, ‘Jikubali’, ‘Samboira’, ‘Unanichora’ ft. Joh Makini and ‘Maneno’, to name a few. As with Feza, his new partnership with Panamusiq aims at developing Ben Pol into a sustainable global brand and consolidating his fame in Tanzania and across Africa. His video for ‘Sophia’ achieved nearly 100 000 views in its first week on YouTube and is currently closing in on 250 000 views in just over a month.
