Ghana Music Awards USA 2022: All the winners
The winners of the fourth annual Ghana Music Awards USA (GMA-USA) were announced at the weekend from the Lincoln Theater in Columbus, Ohio, with highlife singer Kofi Kinaata walking away with the coveted Artist of the Year prize.
The scheme celebrates Ghanaian musicians in the diaspora, particularly in the US, and rewards artistic accomplishments in more than 30 categories.
Kofi Kinaata beat off competition from Black Sherif, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy to clinch the topmost prize, which was won by Diana Hamilton last year.
Other big winners on the night included Black Sherif, Diana Hamilton, Jay Hover, Kuami Eugene, Herty Corgie and Royal Mama, all of whom took home two gongs each.
