Interesting mix of artists confirmed for Coke Studio Africa 2019
Coke Studio Africa has announced a number of artists who will appear on TV screens across the continent next year.
The names of the artists known to Music In Africa so far are:

- Naiboi (Kenya)
- Khaligraph Jones (Kenya)
- Moji Shortbabaa (Kenya)
- Nadia Mukami (Kenya)
- Chef 187 (Zambia)
- Winky D (Zimbabwe)
- Mahlet (Ethiopia)
- Bisrat (Ehtiopia)
- Abush Zekele (Ethiopia)
- Yared Negu (Ethiopia)
- Rophnan Nuri (Ethiopia)
- Messias Maricoa (Mozambique)
- Sheebah (Uganda)
- Alvin Kizz (Uganda)
- Fik Fameica (Uganda)
- King Saha (Uganda)
- GospelOnDeBeatz (Nigeria)

The selected artists, most of whom hail from East African countries, have already started working together at the Coke Studio Africa headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, before the forthcoming season begins airing in February.
“Following a successful launch and the production of the 2019 edition of Coke Studio Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, Coca-Cola Company unveils 25 of Africa’s talented artists set to feature on the upcoming new season dubbed Coke Studio Africa 2019,” Coke Studio said.
Coca-Cola southern and East African business unit head of content excellence Monali Shah said the producers of the show were “excited to be back for yet another captivating season of Coke Studio Africa".
"With the programme we continue to set pace in the industry by using music to connect with our consumers, who are big enthusiasts of it,” she said. “The programme continues to create business opportunities for hundreds of people in the industry, across the continent, working on the various components of this production."
Coke Studio Africa project manager Andrew Endovo Alovi said: “Expect an interesting twist of themes and musical fusions. The show has always been at the forefront of producing quality music while at the same time granting various artists across the continent mega exposure and opportunities to collaborate among each other. They also get to work with some of the best local and international professionals in the music world.”
Coke Studio Africa is a music collaboration reality show that seeks to bring together artists to celebrate the diversity of African music and talent. The show also features one international musician. Previous editions featured US R&B artists Trey Songz and Jason Derulo.
