Nigeria: Listen to new Young Jonn single Ten Times

The offering arrives via the Nigeria-headquartered Chocolate City label, which is home to other local stars like Blaqbonez, Tar1q and Candy Bleakz.

Thematically, the Amapiano-infused ‘Ten Times’ explores the ebbs and flows of romance.

“With heartfelt lyrics and dynamic production, ‘Ten Times’ is the perfect soundtrack for your December outings, from late-night drives to dance floor takeovers,” a statement says.

Young Jonn is behind several hit tracks including the Davido-assisted ‘Dada’ and ‘Xtra Cool’, as well as the Love Is Not Enough EP series.

Recently, digital streaming platform Spotify named Young Jonn’s 16-track Jiggy Forever debut LP as 2024’s most-streamed album in Nigeria. The project boasts popular singles like ‘Big Big Things’, ‘Aquafina’, ‘Sharpally’ and ‘Stronger’.

Last month, Young Jonn secured an endorsement deal with beverage brand Pepsi.

“Pumped to team up with the coolest in the game,” the singer-songwriter said. “Let’s make magic happen.”

As part of the deal, Young Jonn will participate in a series of campaigns. According to a statement Young Jonn “brings his unique vibe to the Pepsi family, a perfect match for the brand that’s all about refreshing the world with music and flavour.”
