Pitch your great ideas at ACCES 2019
The Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF) is inviting music industry players such as start-ups and service providers to take part in the ACCES 2019 Pitch Sessions at the Ghana Academy of Sciences in Accra from 28 to 30 November.
The ACCES 2019 Pitch Sessions (formerly known as Interactive Exhibitions) are ideal opportunities that start-ups can use to present their ideas to an audience of potential partners, collaborators, clients and even funders. Pitchers get 10 minutes to present their concepts, answer questions and get feedback from the audience members, many of whom will be music industry leaders on the lookout for the next big idea.
This is the perfect opportunity for innovators in the music industry to gain added exposure at the pan-African trade event, which has been lauded widely for facilitating the exchange of ideas, discovery of new talent and creation of business linkages between music professionals from around the world.
This year's ACCES music conference will feature more than 80 local and international speakers and hundreds of delegates including festival organisers, record label executives, digital distributors, artists managers, NGO representatives, funders and well-known artists from Africa, Europe and the US.

In addition, their company profiles will appear on the Music In Africa website (musicinafrica.net) and in the dedicated exhibitors' newsletter that will be sent out to some 39 000 subscribers in Anglophone and Francophone Africa, as well as to recipients around the world.

Music In Africa is currently running a Pitch Exhibitor promotion where pitchers will get to share their great ideas for a discounted fee of $100. The pitching sessions will also be added to the ACCES digital and print programme to ensure that they attract the right industry leaders attending the conference.
About ACCES
ACCES is a pan-African trade event for music industry players to exchange ideas, discover new talent and create business linkages. ACCES is held in a different African city every year, attracting active music industry players from across the globe.
ACCES is organised by the Music In Africa Foundation, a non-profit and pan-African organisation, in partnership and with the support of Siemens Stiftung, Goethe-Institut, Reeperbahn Festival International, Alliance Française, BMG, MediaSound Hamburg, the Multimedia Group, Africa Art Lines, Afrikayna, the Gold Coast Hub, the Year of Return, the Prince Claus Fund and the ANT Mobility Grant from Pro Helvetia Johannesburg, financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
This year ACCES has a partnership with Reeperbahn Festival – one of the most important meeting places for the music industry worldwide and Europe's largest club festival based in Hamburg, Germany. The partnership creates a framework for the festival to collaborate with ACCES in facilitating sustainable business engagements and exchange between European and African music businesses and professionals, as well as the provision of performance opportunities to musicians in both territories.
