R2Bees up for 4Syte Awards

This year Stonebwoy is nominated twice in the Collaboration Video category - proof that the singer has kept busy with associations within the music industry of the continent and in West Africa in particular, having featured Nigerian artist Patoranking in one such category. Perhaps more surprising is Patoranking’s two nominations in the same category. Like Stonebwoy, Patoranking has been involved a number collaborations. His countrymen Iyanya (aka Mr Oreo), Wizkid, Kiss Daniel and Korede Bello are up for the Best African Act video. Cameroon's Stanley Enow and Oslo-based half-African duo Nico & Vinz make up the rest of this category.

Arguably the most contentious is the Dancehall category, where Stonebwoy, Samini and Shatta Wale go head to head. Episode, AK Songstress and Vybrant Faya make up the rest of category.
