Sierra Leone: NEAs 2021 announce winners

The NEAs celebrate the country’s outstanding entertainers and professionals in the music industry and other sectors of the entertainment space.

Rapper Swadu was the biggest winner in the music categories, walking away with three trophies including Best Female Artist, Best Hit Single of the Year and Female Hip Hop Artist of the Year. Other notable winners are King Ibebangs, who won Best Diaspora Act in Music and Best Music Video Director, Village Boy, who was named the Best New Act in Music, and Maggie, whose The Dream Album was named Album of the Year.
