Kabza De Small launches Tech Hub record label, signs JNR SA

South African DJ and producer Kabza De Small has launched Tech Hub, a new record label focused on Afro Tech music, with producer and DJ JNR SA becoming its first signed artist.

The announcement marks Kabza De Small’s latest venture in the country’s electronic music industry as Afro Tech continues to gain international recognition. According to the announcement, the label aims to support emerging and established artists working within the genre.
JNR SA, known for his melodic productions and Afro Tech sound, becomes the label's inaugural signing. His work has earned him a growing profile within South Africa's electronic music scene and internationally.
The launch of Tech Hub comes amid increasing global interest in Afro Tech, a genre that blends elements of African rhythms with electronic dance music. The label says it intends to provide a platform for artists contributing to the development of the genre while supporting new talent.
Kabza De Small, whose real name is Kabelo Petrus Motha, is one of South Africa's most prominent music producers and DJs. Born in Mpumalanga and raised in Pretoria, he is widely recognised for his role in the development and international growth of Amapiano, a genre that has gained widespread popularity in recent years.
