BIO
Marx Morris Twumasi, professionally known as Morris Babyface (and more recently Morris D’Voice Lovit), is a legendary Ghanaian music producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
Born on January 21, 1980, in the Ashanti Region, Morris is a titan of the Ghanaian music industry, credited with shaping the "Golden Era" of Hiplife and Highlife in the late 1990s and 2000s.
A virtuoso keyboardist and two-time Ghana Music Awards "Best Sound Engineer," Morris is the genius behind many of Ghana’s most iconic records.
His production discography reads like a "Who’s Who" of African music, including legends such as Kojo Antwi, Obrafour, Okomfoo Kwadee, Lord Kenya, Ofori Amponsah, and Esther Smith.
His unique ability to blend silky R&B vocals with hard-hitting local rhythms earned him his nickname, drawing comparisons to the American producer Babyface.
In a transformative career move, Morris renounced secular music to become a Born-Again Christian and Evangelist. Today, he dedicated his immense talents exclusively to Gospel music and ministry, producing timeless spiritual hits and using his platform to mentor the next generation of faith-based artists.
