Dominic Peters and David Poole create dance music containing elements of jazz and African music, making use of live instruments like double bass, saxophones, keyboards, flute and guest vocals. Their genre-defying mix of live instruments, house beats and searing live performances has seen Goldfish go from impromptu jams at a tiny beach club in Cape Town to headlining Amsterdam’s Olympic Stadium, cracking a top 10 on the US iTunes Dance chart, a residency at Pacha Ibiza with David Guetta and top international DJs like Fedde le Grand knocking at their door to do remix their tracks.

They’ve played sold-out shows all over the world, including Amsterdam, Miami, the Sydney Opera House, Sao Paulo, Glastonbury and Sensation White. They have opened for countless international acts touring South Africa, such as Basement Jaxx, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Mr Scruff and Stereo MCs. Their tracks have appeared in adverts for Kia and Nike. Their albums include 'Caught in the Loop' (2006), 'Perceptions of Pacha' (2008), 'Get Busy Living' (2010), 'Goldfish' (2012) and 'Three Second Memory' (2013), garnering numerous number ones at home and eight SAMA nominations.
