Clayrocksu (Bianca Adanna Okorocha) is a Nigerian Afro-rock and alternative artist pushing the boundaries of what rock music can sound like from Africa. Blending Nigerian musical influences with rock, alternative, folk, and metal, her music is emotional, raw, and unapologetically unconventional. Her sound moves between vulnerability and rage, softness and power, creating music that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Known for her powerful vocals, emotive songwriting, and intense live performances, Clayrocksu has become one of the leading voices in Africa’s growing alternative music scene. Whether performing with an acoustic guitar or fronting a full live band, she brings a compelling stage presence that pulls audiences into every performance.

Her work has received both critical acclaim and international recognition, with features in Reuters, Associated Press, The New York Times, BBC, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian UK. She is a winner of AFRIMA (All Africa Music Awards) for Best African Rock, one of the continent’s most prestigious music honors, and was also named Audio Inferno’s Rock Goddess of the Year. She is also a proud Recording Academy (GRAMMY) member.

Beyond her music, Clayrocksu is helping shape the future of alternative music in Nigeria. She is the founder of AfroRockstars and creator of Rock Night Lagos, one of the country’s leading platforms for rock, heavy, and alternative music culture.
