Boitumelo Ben, professionally known as Danielle Swagger, is a epitome of courageous and determined amongst the rest. She is a 29 year old rapper, entrepreneur and model from the village of Tonota, Botswana (Father’s side) and Bulawayo, Zimbabwe (Mother’s side), more so the multi -talented artist was Born and raised in the vibrant city of Gaborone, Danielle Swagger's journey into the world of music and fashion began at a young age.

From her early years, Danielle Swagger displayed a natural inclination towards the arts, captivating audiences with her dynamic performances and undeniable stage presence. Her passion for music led her to explore various genres, but it was in hip hop where she found her true voice. Infusing her lyrics with personal experiences, social commentary, and empowering messages, Danielle Swagger's music resonates deeply with listeners from all walks of life.
Between 2011/14 she featured on the single « Motswako Anthem », released her first single featuring JT SpecialBoy « Wanna Beez » and started to perform at different student event around Botswana. in 2015 she released “Sheba Gusheshe”, which made waves on local radio stations even touching the South African market. A resolutely African artist.
Seeking to expand her artistic horizons and explore new opportunities, Danielle Swagger made the bold decision to relocate to Reunion Island, France. This move allowed her to immerse herself in a diverse cultural landscape and collaborate with international artists, producers, and designers. It was in this new environment that Danielle's creative spirit flourished, fueling her artistic growth and widening her artistic network.

For more than 4 years now, Danielle Swagger continues her evolution by surrounding herself with French artists, she featured artist such like Fabio Marouvin, Cinkième Degrés, Alex Sorres.
Danielle Swagger's talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as she has garnered recognition and accolades both locally and internationally. Her music has received airplay on various radio stations, and she has performed on renowned stages, captivating audiences with her electrifying energy and lyrical prowess.
Today the young Motswana is making remarkable strides in the international market, where she is currently based in Reunion Island (France), having have been given the opportunity to part-take in some of the biggest festivals in the Indian Ocean; i.e Electropicales Festival, where she opened for the French Rapper “ Jok-Air ” and The Sakifo Festival, which is one the biggest highlights of her career to date. Her recent performance was for the “Fête De La Musique”, where she gotinvited by UrbanHit Radio Reunion exclusively as an international act.
In present day, the promotion of her first solo album “Are You Ready? ” which was released mid 2021 continues. Due to Covid-19 complications the brand encountered a few mishaps more so, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”. She is also promoting French rappers and mentoring the youth who are interested in Multi Media (The creative industry).
Currently based in Reunion Island, Danielle Swagger continues to create music, collaborate with fellow artists, and make her mark in the fashion industry.
