26 Jun 2021 - 08:55
South African Rapper Akani Shibambu, also known as Nascaroberts has recently overcome complete paralysis after suffering a life threatening stroke in February 2021.
On Tuesday evening, the 23rd of February 2021 Nascaroberts [17] suffered a life threatening stroke while asleep at his Family home in Randburg after returning from school. He was then admitted into Hospital the following morning and was held in ICU for the duration of his stay before being discharged into family care.
The 17 year old "former" controversial Rapper/Vocalist is currently in his matric year and had been isolated from school and music after being paralyzed for the past 3 months with no sense of mobility up until recently. After attending physiotherapy and a lengthy recovery process, Nascaroberts has made a lot of progress which includes him gaining parts of his mobility back and his morale up and running with hopes of completing his matric year and jumping back into the music scene.
The vage Iove hitmaker joined the music industry as ''Mingle Syre" back in 2019, as a member of the Newmusic production trio. He then came to prominence after the release of his mixed Ep "BVO" and "Project IV" which had a majority of Emo-rap, RnB and Conscious Trap filled songs that made waves in parts of Southern Africa, Germany and mostly Australia after one of the songs
(Vage Love) was played on KIIS radio.
At just 17 years old, Nascaroberts has accumulated a networth of about $20 000, released a proffesional half tape titled
"Summer Love" consisting of a demo and an Original, while the original remains unreleased. He is also the youngest African muscian to have a consignment contract with his current Record Label and has a total of 189 unreleased songs under them.
Akani, believes everthing and everyone has a purpose and his is to console the "scars" of people throughout Earth whether it be young or old through music, giving reason to his ''no genre" attitude.
