Africa Entertainment Awards USA 2023: All the nominees

First presented in 2015, the scheme celebrates African entertainment and achievements globally. Additionally, it aims to unite Africans, including those in the Caribbean, and promote a strong, self-sufficient Africa capable of driving social change worldwide.

This year’s ceremony will celebrate achievements in some 50 categories, across music, film, sport and fashion among others.

Nigeria’s Davido leads this year’s nominees with four nods, followed by fellow countryman Burna Boy with three. Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz has also been shortlisted in three categories.
