African Entertainment Awards USA 2024: All the nominees

Since its inception in 2015, this initiative has celebrated African entertainment and achievements globally, aiming to unite Africans, including those in the Caribbean, while promoting a self-sustaining Africa that drives social change.

This year’s ceremony will recognise excellence in more than 50 categories, including music, film, sports, and fashion. Voting for the various nominees began on 30 September and will end on 2 November via the official awards website.

Among the most nominated acts this year are Afrobeats stars Davido and Burna Boy with six each, followed by Tems, Ayra Starr, Yemi Alade, Harmonize, and Diamond Platnumz, who are tied with three nominations each.

Last year’s biggest winners include Diamond Platnumz, who took home the coveted Artist of the Year prize, Davido, who won Album of the Year for Timeless, and Rema’s Selena Gomez-assisted ‘Calm Down’ was adjudged Song of the Year.
