The 2017 season of the Midem Artist Accelerator (MAA) is open. It will happen from 6-9 June in Cannes Palais des Festivals in France.
Midem is the only international career-booster for emerging musical talent, designed to support managers, agents, labels and publishers as they look to grow their artists’ profiles globally. It is open to all African countries.
It’s a unique opportunity for nine upcoming international talents to be selected, recognised and mentored by an elite artistic committee composed of top-notch industry players; play live on the Midem By Night main stage and benefit from curated networking, learning and coaching sessions offered by leaders of the international music industry.
All finalist also have their songs featured on Midem’s communications, as well as on the official Midem 2017 vinyl compilation.
Past finalists include Akua Naru, Al Bairre, Alfred Hall, Alo Wala, Alysha Brilla, Andreya Triana, Bellevue Days, Club Cheval, Far From Alaska, Flo Morrissey, Ghetts, THE HUNDREDS, Koo Ntakra, Little Barrie, Malky, NVDES and Synapson.
Managers, agents, publishers, labels have now until 5 February to submit their best ready-to-export projects for this third edition on midem.com.
