Burundi: Voting open for Pamoja Awards

Voting is exclusively for Econet Leo mobile subscribers. A special code has been provided for each category.

The awards' founder, Geoffrey Baluku, popularly known as Pastor Jeff, told Music In Africa that the aim of the awards was to encourage musicians to be innovative.

“I am excited that we have the honour of hosting the only gospel awards in Burundi,” he said. "This year we want to recognise and appreciate talent and also give the public an opportunity to support their artists."

"Our Pamoja Festival is very successful so it is our hope that the awards will also grow to eventually include artists from around the region.”
