Call for applications: 2020 Media Sound Hamburg scholarship

The scholarship includes free participation in all masterclasses, workshops and special events including the MSH conference. It will cover meals, accommodation and board worth €3 000 ($3 900).

Interested applicants should fill in this form.

The opportunity is open to individuals under 35 years and the application deadline is 1 May.

The winner will be selected by an independent international jury.

“We look forward to international industry professionals, many participants and numerous guests. The programme for the anniversary edition will be announced little by little,” MSH said.

About Media Sound Hamburg

Media Sound Hamburg is an international summer academy for film music, game music and sound design, which has been held annually in Hamburg since 2011. At various workshops, masterclasses and forums, the participants work on specific projects and explore new ideas for their artistic work. Previous guests include Patrick Doyle, Randy Thom, Mark Stoeckinger, Shigeru Umebayashi, Michael Nyman, Olivier Derivière, Jan AP Kaczmarek, Tim Nielsen, James Mather, Christopher Young, Bille August, Ben Burtt, Annette Focks, Joe Kraemer, Chris Huelsbec and Youki Yamamoto.
