Position summary

• Working remotely with the label division’s London office.
• Primary duties include scouting and signing artists to the company at all levels of the developmental spectrum.
• Developing strong relationships with writers, artists, producers, managers, and lawyers.

Position tasks

• Identifying, signing, managing, and developing new artists across genres.
• Serving as a strategic liaison between artists and the world.
• Supervising the production of records and overseeing all aspects of the process that leads up to the delivery of all finished recordings.
• Working cross-functionally to organise promotional and marketing efforts related to an artist’s releases.
• Analysing artist performance data across all platforms.

Position requirements

Applicants must

• Have success stories of scouting and managing both emerging artists and established artists.
• Deep knowledge of musical trends, movements, and styles, and a finely tuned and constantly evolving understanding of current music.
• Love to listen to all kinds of music despite genres or languages.
• Be able to work unpredictable schedules including seeing live music, listening to mountains of demos, and spending time with artists.
• Be well organised, and dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay outstanding attention to detail.
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and time management skills.
