The British Council and Nesta, a London-based innovation foundation, are inviting creative entrepreneurs to apply for a five-day capacity-building workshop in Kano State, Nigeria, starting on 26 August 2019.
The workshop, which will be held under Nesta's Creative Enterprise Programme (CEP), seeks to equip participants with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Expert facilitators and local market specialists will provide face-to-face support to help entrepreneurs explore business ideas, develop their business proposition and create a business model, which suits their hopes and motivations.
This interactive programme brings Nesta’s Creative Enterprise Toolkit to life and uses a mixture of practical exercises and activities that have been designed specifically for the programme.

The application deadline is 21 July 2019.
Note that the CEP will conduct a similar workshop in Owerri on 11 November and Kano on 21 October and 18 November.
