Call for applications: Karibu Music Festival Tanzania

Karibu Music Festival features local and international artists in various arts disciplines including music, dance, painting, theatre and crafts.

Held annually, the festival’s mission is to promote African art and culture to the world and at the same time introduce other countries’ culture to Africa in order to build on possible opportunities for all participants.

The closing date for applications is 31 August 2018 after which the successful applicants will receive an official invitation letter.

Successful artists from Tanzania will receive a modest performance fee while international artists will be expected to cater for their own air ticket, visa and insurance but will benefit from the following upon arrival:

• Modest accommodation.
• Per diems for meals and incidentals.
• All local transport related to the performance.

• List of recordings (title and year).
