Call for applications: Residency for emerging artists in Italy

Turin-based cultural hub Officine Caos is calling on emerging artists from abroad to present their work during Italy’s winter season, from January to April 2021.
The hub particularly wishes to engage with cross-disciplinary and performance art works lasting up to 40 minutes.
The offer includes a performance space, technical equipment and assistance, accommodation for a maximum of four people, an overall reimbursement of €1 100, and high-profile publicity in print, online and elsewhere.
Who should apply?
Artists must be working in the following fields:
- Performance
- Dance
- Contemporary theatre
- Multimedia art
How it works
- Each week there will be two companies: a company from Italy and another from abroad.
- Public presentations will take place on Friday and Saturday at 21pm for the company from Italy and at 22pm for the company from abroad.
How to apply
Interested applicants should apply online here and the applicants must provide the following details:
- Total number of people in your group coming for the residency project.
- Names of the members of the company who will attend the residency and their role within the team.
- Company biography and performance description.
- Duration of the final performance.
- Links to trailer and/or full-length video.
- Preferred period.
The application deadline is 30 September.
