Chinese owned video-focused social networking service TikTok is calling for applications for its 2022 Undergrad/Masters Internship Programme.
With global offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul and Tokyo, TikTok is the world’s leading short-form mobile video platform.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with the chance to work with the company’s clients and teams to address key business problems and identify areas of growth for the company. With their education and experience, interns will be able to take on real-world challenges from day one.
The role will support Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya. It is open to people who want to inspire creativity and co-create the future with TikTok – individuals who are quick in noticing trends and sharp enough to deliver insights to guide TikTok’s teams on what is trending in the world.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant:
- Must be able to keep up with trending events of the day and give valuable insights.
- Will work with the Insights team to provide daily insights on what TikTok’s communities love the most.
- Will assist TikTok’s safety team with reviewing top videos of the day to ensure they are not harmful.
This role will support with:
- Reviewing videos for valuable insights to support TikTok’s core operations, creators and content.
- Picking up potential threats and safety issues as they happen off-app.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Currently be enrolled in a degree, graduating in 2023.
- Be passionate about TikTok.
- Have knowledge of popular trends and music.
- Know more than two languages, including English.
- Have an eye for detail.
