Call for applications: Traditional music and technology workshop in Tanzania

Nafasi Art Space and Alliance Francaise Dar es Salaam in Tanzania are calling on artists to apply for a workshop on traditional music and technology that will run between 4 and 7 February 2020.
The workshop will focus on technology and its role in traditional music and will be facilitated by producer and composer Fred Hirschy (France), kora player and singer Noumoucounda Cissoko (Senegal), drummer Axel Lussiez (France) and singer Thaïs Diarra (Mali/Switzerland).
"The workshop is intended for vocalist and musicians who wish to discover and experiment with new sounds," Nafasi Art Space said.
"Our special guest musicians will also perform at Alliance Francaise Dar es Salaam on 7 February and also in Zanzibar for Sauti za Busara on 13 February 2020."
The application deadline is 29 January. There are only 20 slots available.
