Call for auditions: Traditional musicians and dancers in Kenya

The auditions will be held at the PPMC grounds in State House Road, Nairobi, on 4 November (8am EAT).

To participate in the auditions, interested individuals must:

• Be above 18 years old.
• Be a Kenyan with a valid ID or passport.
• Be prepared with a repertoire not lasting more than one minute.
• Be committed to rehearsals and training.

Interested musicians should play any of the following instruments:

• Nyatiti
• Obokano
• Fiddle
• Karimba
• Traditional drums

Note: The jury will need to see the participant's showmanship in addition to their proficiency on an instrument.
