The International Festival of Folk and People Arts (FoPe Fest) in London, UK, is accepting applications for this year’s edition in September.
This annual festival seeks to promote cultures, traditions and customs through film, music, dance, literature and visual arts. Individual artists, art professionals and amateurs are invited to submit works in English that portray people and country cultures, traditions and customs.
FoPe Fest is accepting applications in the following categories:
Music and Dance
This includes live dance, live music video and live music.
Requirements:
- File format – .mp4 / .avi / .wmv or .mov.
- File size – 1.5GB maximum.
Literature
This includes poetry, fiction and graphic novels.
Requirements:
- File format – docs, .pdf or .jpg.
- Poetry – Complete work.
- Graphic novels – 70 pages maximum.
- Fiction – 20 pages maximum.
- File size – 1.5GB.
Movie
This includes short films, features and documentaries.
Requirements:
- File format – mp4 / .avi / .wmv or .mov.
- Short film – 40 minutes maximum.
- Documentary – 50 minutes maximum.
- Feature – 41 minutes or longer.
- File size – 2GB.
Visual Art
This includes photography, painting and digital art.
Requirements:
- File format – .pdf or .jpg.
- File size – 1.5GB.
