The Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) is calling on interested participants to register for its exhibition, which will take place at the 2021 Intra-African Trade Fair in Durban, South Africa, from 15 to 21 November.
CANEX at IATF 2021 will bring together Africa’s creative sector through substantial exhibition space, B2B and government meeting opportunities, and a comprehensive programme of conversations, panels discussions, live performances and film screenings.
The CANEX Summit will take place on 19 and 20 November. It is curated by and for the African creative sector, and will see top African talent engaging in conversations with policy leaders, government representatives, global and African creative brands and companies, and financiers.
The organisers say the event is designed for the business of the cultural and cretive industry and aims to find sustainable and scalable solutions for established and emerging African creatives.
The event will also feature an exhibition and pop-up craft market, which will showcase African artisans and crafters who will have the opportunity to retail their wares, as well as a range of special events including art installations, fashion shows, and music, dance and spoken word performances.
Additionally, it will include a range of masterclasses from some of Africa’s top experts.
Interested participants can register for IATF 2021 here.
