Call for scores: Seoul international Online Composition Festival

Applications are ongoing for the Seoul International Online Composition Festival, which seeks to promote South Korean new music and international exchange of composers worldwide.
The event is organised by Neue Musik aus Korea (NMK) programme for the country's contemporary music with the support of the Seoul metropolitan government. This call is for composers from all over the world regardless of age or nationality.
“The theme of the 2021 festival is Re-Create,” NMK said. “We actively encourage compositions in which pieces are reinterpreted by composers’ new idea of traditional music from around the world, classical music or folk songs from each country.”
Interested applicants can submit scores in the following categories:
Chamber Orchestra
Instrumentation: 2 Flutes, 1 oboe, 1 clarinet, 1 bassoon, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, strings (15 players: 5-4-3-2-1).
Chamber Music
Instrumentation: 2 flutes, 1 oboe, 1 clarinet, 1 bassoon, 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello, 1 double bass, 1 piano, 1 daegeum, 1 piri/taepyeongso, 1 haegeum, 1 Gayageum, 1 Korean percussion.
Note:
- Composers should use the theme, Re-Create, to reinterpreted traditional music (folk songs, classical music, etc.).
- Submissions could be both new work or previously performed work.
- Each composer can only submit one score.
- The length of work should be between eight and 12 minutes.
Requirements
- Score (PDF format).
- Audio (MP3 file).
- Video (YouTube, Vimeo, link of URL).
