Cardi B will still headline SA concert in December

The announcement was made by US media personality Sway Calloway during the first episode of Castle Lite Unlocks in Bed With on 15 April.

The hip hop event was initially scheduled for 12 June but the organisers postponed the concert due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Both parties felt it was important to make sure that Cardi B would still be coming to South Africa to give her 'bardigang' a performance they will never forget,” Castle Lite Brand director Silke Bucker said. "We are looking forward to hosting the biggest hip hop experience in Africa once again this year.”

The organisers say that purchased tickets will be valid top gain entry at the concert in December.

Fans also have the option of reallocating their tickets should they not be able to make the new date by logging on the Castle Lite official website or donating their ticket to the COVID-19 Zero Initiative by emailing [email protected].

Castle Lite said consumers who did not want to attend the event any longer could get a refund by sending an email to [email protected] with the email address used to book the ticket, the cardholder’s details for ticket purchase, and the ticket number. "Castle Lite will be in direct contact with consumers regarding the ticket exchange,” it said.
