Digital Lab Africa announces winners

The winners will each receive:

• €3 000 ($3 600) cash prize.
• Tailor-made incubation programme to accelerate their project development with two mentors from the French and sub-Saharan creative industries (producers, distributors, broadcasters, experts and artists).
• A residence period in France within a digital cluster/hub and participation in industry events in France and/or sub-Saharan Africa.

“After viewing all the video pitch on vote.digilabafrica.com and interviewing the 30 finalists, the selection committees members have selected the 10 winning projects of DLA’s second edition,” the DLA said.

“Among more than 730 applications, 10 applicants (five women and five men) from South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ethiopia and Kenya stood out for their talent, their creativity and their ability to defend their ideas.”
