DJ Clock prepares uplifting return with single We Can Fly, upcoming EP Radiance

The single draws on everyday social pressures and personal struggles, with Clock framing it as a response to issues such as depression, unemployment and the broader sense of uncertainty affecting many communities. Rather than offering easy answers, the track is intended as a reminder of endurance and possibility in difficult circumstances.

Clock said the song emerged from a desire to speak directly to lived realities. He explained that the music is shaped by “the social and personal challenges many people face today”, adding that it is meant to encourage listeners to hold on to hope even during difficult periods.

Radiance expands on that message, with Clock describing the EP as a reflection of “light, positivity and purpose” during challenging times. The project is positioned as a narrative of personal and creative resilience, encouraging listeners to rise above adversity and maintain optimism.

Despite exploring new production styles, Clock has emphasised the importance of staying grounded in his established sound. He has spoken about balancing experimentation with authenticity, ensuring his evolving work still reflects the style that first connected him with audiences.

Among the tracks on the EP is ‘Friends Till the End’, a collaboration featuring Terrence, Cutie, Mix, For Real and Pika the Italian. Clock said the track was designed to reinforce ideas of unity, both within the music industry and in wider society, aligning with the EP’s overarching message of togetherness.

The project also features contributions from international artist Halo, although she is not formally credited due to contractual restrictions.

Clock further noted the role of emerging technology in shaping the production process, including the use of artificial intelligence tools. He credited collaborators and partners who supported the integration of these technologies during the making of the EP.

Away from the studio, Clock pointed to family as a key source of motivation. He said his wife, children, friends and long-time supporters continue to drive his commitment to producing music with meaning and emotional depth.

As anticipation builds for ‘We Can Fly’ and Radiance, the project signals a reflective phase in Clock’s career, one that leans towards optimism and collective healing at a time of widespread social strain.
