US-based Ghanaian artist MOLIY has announced a new mixtape titled ‘BADDIES MOLIY’, which is scheduled for release this summer through gamma.
The announcement was accompanied by a teaser video revealing featured artists and providing a preview of the project. The mixtape includes collaborations with a range of international artists and producers, including Yailin la Más Viral, Skillibeng, Shenseea, Sarkodie, Tyla, Br3nya, Mavo and Mellissa.
According to information released alongside the announcement, the project aims to incorporate multiple musical influences and styles. The teaser video also hinted at upcoming tour dates in North America.
“I didn’t want to stay in one lane with this mixtape,” MOLIY said. “Every song pulls from a different energy, sound, and part of my personality, but it all connects through confidence, freedom, and movement. It’s like a party with no rules, just in time for a baddie summer.”
The project follows the success of MOLIY’s ‘Shake It To The Max’ remix, which the artist said surpassed one billion streams and received recognition from music platforms including Spotify and TikTok.
The mixtape will also feature previously released material, including Body Go and Partygyal.
Ahead of the release, MOLIY and Skillibeng are scheduled to begin a 20-date North American tour starting in New York.
The artist's recent activity follows a period of growing international visibility, including collaborations with artists such as Sean Paul and Ciara.
