Ghana’s Ashanti Region Music Awards 2020: All the winners

The awards platform was established to recognise musicians based in the Ashanti region of the country.

The hip hop act bested fellow rappers Strongman, Kweku Flick, Ypee, as well as highlife singer Yaa Jackson, among others, to win the category. Additionally, Flowking Stone walked away with the award for Best Rapper of the Year.

“Dedicating this award to all who have contributed to Flowking Stone in any way,” he said.

Meanwhile, Prophet Albert Mc-Williams was the biggest winner on the night with three awards, including Non-Ashanti Song of the Year, Non-Ashanti Gospel Song of the Year and Non-Ashanti Gospel Artist of the Year. Kweku Flick, Kofi Jamar and Strongman won two trophies apiece.
