Gigi LaMayne teams up with Pcee, Ndloh Jnr and VMB for new single

South African rapper and performer Gigi LaMayne has released a new collaborative single titled ‘Imnandi Lento’ featuring Pcee, Ndloh Jnr and VMB.
Released through Hart Roc Entertainment, the track combines dance, Afro-house, amapiano and 3 Step influences with rap elements and township-inspired production styles.
The song brings together multiple vocal styles and genres, with Gigi LaMayne delivering rap verses while the featured artists contribute melodic and dance-oriented elements. The production incorporates high-energy rhythms associated with contemporary South African dance music.
According to information accompanying the release, the single explores themes of confidence, ambition and African identity, positioning itself within a broader movement of African dance music gaining international attention.
Gigi LaMayne, based in Johannesburg, has built a career spanning hip hop, Afro House and electronic-influenced African music styles. She previously became one of the first African female hip hop artists to headline a large-scale solo concert through her Gigi Gang Show.
Her career has included performances at international festivals and appearances on platforms such as BBC 1Xtra, Mixmag and DJ Mag Africa.
Beyond music, the artist has also been involved in youth empowerment initiatives and advocacy work supporting women in the music industry.
‘Imnandi Lento’ is now available on digital streaming platforms.
