Popular Ugandan musician Dr Jose Chameleone is set to bring the house down with his highly-anticipated 'Wale Wale Live - Double Trouble' concert that is slated for Friday 1 May - International Workers' Day (aka Labour Day or May Day) - at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Kampala.
Kyadondo Grounds is popular for rugby events and music concerts. Part of the reason for its popularity is its location on a busy road opposite a lively shopping mall. According to hipipo.com, filling the venue is not an easy feat. It takes a musician with clout like Chameleone to do it. He has previously filled the venue with his highly successful Valu Valu Live concert in March 2012 and the Badilisha East African Concert in April 2013, which were some of his most attended shows.
The upcoming Wale Wale concert was initially planned to be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval, but the organizers had to change the venue due to ongoing renovation work at Lugogo.
