South African R&B and soul artist KEAMO is set to release a new single titled ‘BLUE MOVIE’ featuring Royal Animation on 22 May.
The track combines elements of alternative R&B, soul and blues-inspired production, with a focus on atmospheric instrumentation and emotionally driven songwriting. The release has been described as drawing influence from classic soul music while incorporating contemporary R&B textures.
‘BLUE MOVIE’ is built around slow-paced rhythms, layered melodies and intimate vocal performances, with KEAMO delivering a blues-influenced vocal style across the track. Royal Animation contributes additional production and musical elements that shape the song’s cinematic sound.
The single continues KEAMO’s exploration of alternative soul and modern African R&B, genres that have seen growing visibility across digital streaming platforms and independent music spaces in recent years.
According to information released ahead of the launch, the song is expected to appeal to audiences interested in neo-soul, contemporary R&B and blues-inspired music.
‘BLUE MOVIE’ featuring Royal Animation will be released globally on 22 May across digital streaming platforms.
