Kenya: Tusker launches Nexters Podcast

The podcast, hosted by Kenyan content creator Stephanie Ng'ang'a, seeks to spotlight and amplify the voices of young Kenyans in sports and the creative arts.

The introductory episodes are dedicated to commemorating International Women’s Month in March. They feature conversations with women who are making waves in their respective industries, showcasing their stories of resilience, determination and success.

The podcast is available on Tusker’s official YouTube channel. Below are the guests featured in the first three episodes of the podcast:

• Episode 1: Ready, Set, Action kicks off the series with a deep dive into the creative arts space. Host Stephanie Ng'ang'a engages in insightful discussions with actor Serah Wanjiru, film and TV director, producer and screenwriter Ceci Wanza, as well as content creator April Wambui, who speak on their artistic endeavours and the challenges they’ve overcome to pursue their passions.
• Episode 2: Facing the Music delves into the world of music with a diverse line-up of guests. From rapper Wangechi to the raw talent of Nakuru rapper Veryl Mkali Wao and Tusker Project Fame runner-up Nyawĩra Siren, this episode celebrates the diversity and talent in Kenya’s music scene.
• Episode 3: Twende Field shifts the focus to the realm of sports, highlighting the extraordinary achievements of female athletes. Olympic sharpshooter Priscilla Mburu and rugby duo Grace Adhiambo and Natasha Emali share their inspiring journeys, breaking barriers and defying stereotypes along the way.
