South African hip hop artist Cassper Nyovest has released a new single titled ‘Amademoni’.
‘Amademoni’, which loosely translates to 'demons', features renowned producer and writer Tweezy. The single is a follow-up of Nyovest’s ‘Good For That’ single.
‘Amademoni’ is available for streaming and download here.
“‘Amademoni’ represents all the haters, naysayers who don’t want to see us prosper,” Cassper Nyovest said. “It also represents all the hardships and battles we are fighting in our lives which in turn makes our dreams harder to reach.
“We all have battles and ‘Amademoni’ that we are fighting, be it poverty, depression or drugs. This track is definitely encouraging everyone to overcome their demons.”
The single, Universal Music South Africa said, is a tip of an iceberg of what Nyovest has in store for his fans this year.
“Cassper also acknowledges the crisis that we are currently facing globally as the arts are affected by the vast spread of the COVID-19 epidemic,” Universal Music South Africa said. “This song is a reminder that we can all get through the situation we are facing. We have to do the right thing to conquer the virus.”
