Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter, producer and actor Miguel is set to return to South Africa for three live performances in May.
The R&B artist will perform at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on 21 May, followed by a show at the Sun City Superbowl on 22 May. The tour will conclude at SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 23 May.
Miguel, whose music career began at the age of 13, has released five studio albums and built a catalogue spanning R&B, soul and rock. His best-known songs include ‘Adorn’, ‘Sure Thing’, ‘All I Want Is You’, ‘Do You’, ‘Skywalker’, ‘Coffee’ and ‘How Many Drinks’.
The South African shows are expected to feature material from across his catalogue, giving audiences an opportunity to hear his established hits alongside other songs from his career.
“As an experiential events company, we look forward to curating yet another set of world-class shows that our audiences can enjoy and make memorable,” Vertex Events head of events Zizile Mtshali said.
Vertex Events executive director Thato Segoale said: “As a dedicated events team, we only believe in growing bigger and better. Bringing Miguel to South Africa for three amazing live world-class shows is what we aim to produce.”
Tickets are available through Webtickets and selected Pick n Pay stores nationwide.
