Nigerian singer Pat Edo has released a new album titled Inspiration.
The album launch took place in Dublin, Ireland on 25 November. There were several attendees from the entertainment industry and Christian organisations at the event.
Pat Edo was born Patience Edonmhiaye and is known in some circles for the song 'Ebelebe God'. Following the release of the new album, the artist took to social media to celebrate. "Big thanks to all that contributed to the success of my Inspiration album launching," she wrote, "and to those who couldn't meet the event, I hope you will be opportune to see my next concert in your city."
The new album, says Pat Edo, will be available across digital platforms.
A few days after the launch, Pat Edo called for donations to be made to a charity organisation based in Benin City in Edo, the singer's home state in Nigeria. "Aid People Change Naija is calling on you all to visit Aid People Change's orphanage home in Benin City, Nigeria," she posted on Facebook.
"This will be an opportunity for everyone to assist vulnerable children in your own little way. During your visit, you can voluntarily help in cleaning the children's apartments, cooking, put a smile on their faces or share a relevant idea on how to make Edo children healthier.
"For those people with travelling plans to Africa in this upcoming Christmas and New Year celebration, Pat Edo's Ministry wishes you all a blissful trip!"
