Open call: Audio Girl Foundation scholarship programme for women
26 May 2026 - 11:49
Applications are open for the Audio Girl Foundation’s Summer Training Programme, an initiative aimed at supporting young women pursuing careers in audio technology and the music business across Africa and the diaspora.
The programme combines virtual training with scholarship support intended to provide participants with industry knowledge, practical skills and career development opportunities in areas of the music and entertainment sector where women remain underrepresented.
According to the organisers, selected participants will receive scholarship support valued at $300 to help reduce financial barriers to accessing training opportunities.
The programme is expected to focus on technical, operational and business aspects of the creative industries, with organisers seeking to encourage broader participation beyond performance-based careers.
Programme areas include:
- Music business and industry structure
- Music marketing and branding
- Music release strategy
- Music project management
- Music distribution clinic
Eligibility and programme details:
