The Music Business Association, in partnership with Ingrooves Music Group, is inviting interested participants to register for a webinar titled Supercharging Streams and Building Long Term Fans, on 4 May at 8pm CAT.
The virtual event will feature speakers such as Ingrooves Music Group CEO Bob Roback, who will deliver the keynote discussion. Roback joined Ingrooves Music Group in 2015. Since joining the company, Roback and his team have focused on building the next generation of distribution and marketing technology innovations to empower artists and labels to build long-term fan bases.
The keynote discussion will focus on the above, as well as the enormous amount of data coming in and what the challenges are to analyse that data to guide actionable marketing decisions. Music Business Association president Portia Sabin will be an interviewer during the discussion.
Other speakers will include Pandora director of hip hop Joshua ‘J1’ Raiford, Rostrum Records vice-president of A&R Jae Brown, TheSoundClub CEO Kelli Fannon and 777 Records co-owner and managing director Kristine Bjornstad, among others.
They will discuss issues ranging from artist development and artificial intelligence to cross-cultural exchanges and global stages, including topics such as Taking Local Artists to Global Stages and How Data Can Launch New Markets for Artists and Labels: A Case Study on Boy Pablo.
The forum will explore how the topics can be converted into meaningful data for marketing and analytics within the music business and how they are essential to the industry’s current and future growth.
Interested participants can register for the event here.
