Rwandan gospel duo René and Tracy have announced that they will hold a live recording session at Good Shepherd Church in Nyarutarama, Kigali, on 30 September.
The husband-and-wife duo, composed of René Patrick and Tracy Michella Agasaro, said the concert titled In His Presence will feature six recording sessions blended with a worship experience.
“We anticipate that attendees will fully engage in an atmosphere of worship and praise, celebrating the presence of the Lord,” Agasaro told The New Times.
“We will be recording six new songs, of which one is a collaboration with American gospel artist Carrington Gaines. He is a man of God whom we deeply respect, and appreciate how he serves the Lord. Working with him is a tremendous honour and pleasure.”
She added: “This is just the beginning of our journey as a couple. While we have a wealth of new songs, we plan to release six during this concert and will announce future recording plans soon. We extend our gratitude to all who plan to attend and hope to see them.”
René and Tracy describe themselves as a Christ-centred couple “with a praise and worship mandate as well as a mission to spread the gospel to the nations.”
Gaines, meanwhile, is a singer and a songwriter based at Forest City Church in Rockford, Illinois, where he serves as the worship director.
