SA: AzureDé releases new single Light To Land

The release marks the artist’s latest addition to her catalogue and centres on themes of hope, resilience and perseverance.

Speaking about the song, AzureDé said it was inspired by the idea of remaining optimistic during difficult periods.

“‘Light To Land’ is about trusting that brighter days are coming, even when you can’t see them yet. We all face seasons where life feels uncertain, painful or overwhelming. This song is a reminder to keep believing, keep moving forward and trust that your light will eventually land exactly where it's meant to.”

The single combines soulful vocals with electronic dance music influences, reflecting the style that has become associated with AzureDé, who is widely known as the “3-Step Queen”.

According to the artist, the song is intended to encourage listeners to remain hopeful despite personal challenges.

“People often discover artists through a song, but I hope they remember me because of the message behind the music.

My purpose has always been bigger than entertainment. I want to create impact, inspire hope and remind people that their circumstances do not determine their future.”

AzureDé has built her career around a fusion of 3-Step, Afro House, Afro Tech and R&B, incorporating personal storytelling into her music. She has also positioned her work around themes of empowerment and social impact.
