SA: Boohle shares two singles ahead of new album

The tracks were produced with Boohle’s distinctive style, and serve as a taste of the full-bodied musical experience that awaits fans in June.

Boohle’s musical journey began in 2016 with her first house music recording. She then explored various genres, including gospel, gqom, and Afro-pop, before discovering her true calling in amapiano. This newfound passion led her to create hits that significantly contributed to the genre’s growth. In 2020, she released her first album Izibongo, followed by a collaborative project with producer Josiah De Disciple titled Umbuso Wabam’nyama.

Her career gained momentum with the release of the singles ‘Mama’ and ‘Inyembezi’, which became massive hits and took the world by storm. The upcoming album blends amapiano and Afropop, showcasing Boohle’s unique voice and talent.
