South African rapper Cassper Nyovest will take his famous Fill Up concert series to his hometown Mahikeng in the North West Province on 3 December 2022.
The show, to be staged at Mmabatho Stadium, will be the fifth instalment of the series, and will run under the theme Full Circle.
“This is a big moment for me. This stadium is a walking distance from my grandmother's house, I am coming back home to perform for my people,” Cassper Nyovest said. “I cannot wait to put on an unforgettable show for the people of Bokone Bophirima.”
Cassper Nyovest’s manager, Lerato “T-Lee” Moiloa, said: “It is going to be a jam-packed weekend as we have various parties before and after Fill Up. We are grateful to our sponsors and business partners for driving this event. Cassper will be performing alongside a stellar line-up, some of the hottest names in the game right now.”
In 2015, Nyovest filled the 20 000-capacity Ticketpro Dome and a year later the 37 000-seater Orlando Stadium in Soweto. In 2017, the artist sold 68 000 tickets, out of 75 000 issued during the Fill Up FNB Stadium concert. FNB is the biggest arena in South Africa with a seating capacity of more than 94 000.
Tickets to the event are available here.
