South African R&B artist lordkez is set to release her new single, ‘4SHO’, featuring rapper Kwesta, on 21 August 2026.
Kwesta and lordkez.
The release follows lordkez’s win for Best R&B/Soul Album at the 2026 South African Music Awards (SAMA32), adding to a period of growing recognition for the artist.
‘4SHO’ also follows the success of lordkez’s single ‘Aweh’, which was the most-played song across South African radio stations between September and December 2025, according to the information provided. The track has since been certified Gold, while the ‘Aweh [Remix]’, featuring Cassper Nyovest, has achieved Double Platinum status.
The new track brings lordkez together with Kwesta, one of South Africa’s established hip-hop artists. The collaboration combines her contemporary R&B approach with Kwesta’s hip-hop style.
According to the artist, ‘4SHO’ draws on her concept of “Neo Nostalgia”, which combines elements of classic R&B with contemporary African sounds and modern songwriting.
The single follows lordkez’s appearance on COLORS, where she performed ‘Wena Fela’, and continues a run of releases and performances that have expanded her profile locally and internationally.
The official music video for ‘4SHO’ is scheduled for release on 26 August, five days after the single becomes available on digital streaming platforms.
