SA: MÖRDA expands Asante album series with fourth instalment

The project continues the musical direction established with the first Asante album in 2022, with MÖRDA exploring themes including movement, introspection, joy, ambition and human connection.

The series has become a central part of the artist's catalogue, documenting aspects of his personal and creative development while showcasing his approach to electronic music.

Asante IV is accompanied by a six-part visualiser series designed to extend the album’s narrative beyond the music. The visualisers are presented as interconnected chapters, combining music, storytelling and visual art to explore the project's emotional themes.

The release follows a period of international recognition for MÖRDA, who has received a Grammy Award nomination and multiple industry accolades while performing at venues and events around the world.

His work has contributed to the growing international profile of African electronic music, while his production and visual projects have continued to explore new approaches to music and storytelling.

With Asante IV, MÖRDA further develops the creative world established through the series, adding another chapter to a body of work centred on artistic experimentation and personal expression.
