SA: Nasty C joins African Trap Movement for ‘Ibandla’ remix

Released on 21 August, ‘Ibandla (Remix)’ follows the success of the original track, which reached No. 3 on the South African Apple Music Singles Chart. The Trap Temptations also debuted at No. 1 on the South African Apple Music Albums Chart.

Interest in the remix grew after Nasty C shared a preview and live performance of his verse on YouTube. The video has since surpassed one million views, generating anticipation for the full release.

The remix brings together five prominent voices from South African hip-hop, combining ATM’s trap-influenced production and melodic approach with Nasty C’s rap delivery. The collaboration also extends the project’s exploration of contemporary South African hip-hop and its evolving sound.

‘Ibandla (Remix)’ is available on digital streaming platforms.
